Shiny, beads of color, silver and
gold
Gems of rarity, sought out and
sold
Shapes and dimensions given a
plenty
Parts of one, ten, more or less than
twenty
Worn for adornment for others to
view
Queens, princesses, commoners
too
Value of wealth, some simply
sentimental
Some necks without, others quite
fundamental
Simple and intricate both for
delight
Boastfully worn meant to
excite
A concept so simple certainly
shared
Of this be sure many have
cared
Decoration often thought as
reckless
How can we not love a dog with a
necklace

Niecy
That’s so cute!!!

Thank you, Chitkala. The last line was unplanned, but worked out nicely. I just love to write.
