Tears

Tears

August 5, 2015August 5, 2015 ~ Niecy ~ Leave a comment

Tears flowing
Pain not contained
Staining my face
Twisted sounds
Out of my mouth

Washing away
Inconceivable truth
Salty and clear
Trying to understand
Reasons for aching

Watershed moment
Cleaning the anguish
Pushing it through
Processing fear
Cementing reality

Broken pieces
Settled back
In place
Wiping my face
Moving forward
